Vegetarian Layer Rations
Country Heritage Feeds have developed a range of certified organic feeds that are free from any forms of animal protein. This means rations a that a formulated without the use of ingredients such as meat meal, blood meal and fish meal.
With the use of high quality vegetable protein meals, each of our vegetarian rations are formulated to meet our strict specifications meaning the birds will receive all the essential vitamins and minerals required.
Available in mash and pellets.
Soy Free Layer Range
Country Heritage Feeds has developed a layer feed specifically for chickens whose owners may be affected by, or who wish to avoid, the use of soy. The CHF Organic Backyard Soy Free Layer Mash has been formulated to similar specifications as the standard Backyard Layer Mash, but without the inclusion of any organic soybean meal or soybean oil.
Available in mash and pellets.
Gluten & Soy Free Layer Mash
This new feed has been developed to cater for our wheat sensitive customers, who are telling us they wish eliminate all exposure to wheat. This feed eliminates the concern of exposure to wheat during the handling of your chicken feeds. This gluten and soy free ration is available for backyard layers in a mash.
The product specifications for this mash are the same as our Soy Free Layer Mash below (but of course minus the wheat content).
Vegetarian & Soy Free Mash
This feed has been developed to cater for our vegetarian customers, who are telling us they wish eliminate soy as well. This feed eliminates the concern of exposure to soy products. This vegetarian and soy free ration is available for backyard layers in a mash.
The product specifications for this mash are the same as our Vegetarian Layer Mash below (but of course minus the soy content).
Meat Birds

If you enjoy raising your own meat birds then Country Heritage Feeds have the perfect and simple solution to allow you to do it organically without any fuss or need to provide different feeds during the growth cycle.
Just as reliable for starting and growing layer birds, the OPO05 range of feeds is highly suitable for raising meat chickens from day olds right through to slaughter.
Organic Turkey
Country Heritage Feeds manufacture a wide range of rations for growing turkeys. These specific products are currently not distributed through retail outlets due to minimum order requirements.
